Nelson's Creek Wine Estate
Capetown
Paarl
Nelson's Creek Wine Estate in Paarl is situated on some of the first lands selected for wine cultivation by the French Huguenots. Alan Nelson bought the two farms in 1987 called 'St Martin' and 'Wittenberg', and since then the estate has gone on to be recognised as one of the finest along the Paarl wine route.
The Paarl Valley is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful and fertile in the world, and Nelson's Creek has made the most of the perfect location. They produce some of the region's most exceptional wines which receive regular critical acclaim and awards, and with the beautiful scenery, it's a must-visit when exploring Paarl wine country. It's also a great option if you're looking for a unique wedding and function venue, and they also have on-site accommodation available to guests should they wish to stay over.
Nelson Wine Estate is a true family wine estate in every sense of the word, and impressively, most of the members of the Nelson family are still directly involved in the running of daily business in one way or another. In all, it makes for a true homely, engaging wine farm experience, and is one not to be missed.
