The decor at Bukhara is simple and understated, but at the same time fascinating, thanks to the ochre walls, thick wooden furniture imported from India, all set on solid green marble floors. All the restaurants in the Bukhara stable have their now signature open kitchens, which allows you to be entertained by the skulled Indian chefs at work, as they create succulent tandooris and mix the most mouth-watering aromatic curries.

The menu at Bukhara is largely North Indian, however there is a selection of regional cuisine on offer at the various branches. There are also some unique appearances, including various South Indian dishes, Kashmiri barbeques, and even traditionally South African meats, such as ostrich, springbok and kudu.
