Bar Bar Black Sheep
Capetown
International
Rustic, slow-cooked country fare with fresh seasonal ingredients, such as Courgettes freshly picked with their flowers, lightly battered and deep fried and served with a fresh squeeze of lemon juice, olive oil and parmesan cheese.
Bar Bar Black Sheep is a unique and truly beautiful restaurant, which is located in the spectacular town of Riebeek Kasteel, a unique and often overlooked wine lands region. The emphasis here is on slow cooked goods made in a true country style that makes this a truly homely restaurant. They make use of only the best produce sourced locally from neighbouring farms. And understandably, their wine list is as unique and interesting as their menu, with a wide selection from nearby estates, and also from those further afield.
When it comes down to it, Riebeek Kasteel is well worth a visit if you're staying in the Mother City. And with Bar Bar Blacksheep, the superb setting, sumptuous food and relaxing atmosphere make for a truly unique dining experience.
The restaurant is open on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings for dinner, seven days a week for lunch and on Saturday and Sunday mornings for breakfast.
