This lush, landscaped park is a green oasis in the city, offering tranquil paths surrounded by indigenous plants. Enjoy stunning views of Signal Hill and Lion's Head, with plenty of spots to stop and admire the local flora and fauna. The park’s eco-friendly design and peaceful ambience make it a favourite among locals and visitors. Continue your journey to the historic Green Point Lighthouse, the oldest operational lighthouse in South Africa. Erected in 1824, this iconic red-and-white striped beacon has guided countless ships safely to shore. Learn about the lighthouse’s history, its keepers, and its important role in maritime navigation over the centuries. Next, we cycle along the iconic Sea Point Promenade, a long, flat path that hugs the coastline.
